| 416 | Field Visit to Kaziranga National Park | Department of Zoology carried out a field trip to Kaziranga National Park for the students of 4th Semester ( Major) on 28th and 29th March, 2025. This trip was basically organized for giving students the opportunity of experiential learning through field study. There were 23 students , 4 faculties namely Dr. Rekha Chetry(HoD), Dr. Susanta Kr. Student sighted One horned Rhinoceros( Rhinoceros unicornis), Asiatic wild buffalos(Bubalus bubalis) , Indian Elephant(Elephas maximus),Sambar(Cervus unicolor), Swamp deer (Cervus duvauceli)and other wildlife during the safari. On 17th January the students were taken to Zoological Survey of India, Kolkata, which is one of the premier Indian Organization in Zoological Research and Studies. Here students visited the different Scientific Division and gain knowledge about survey, exploration and research regarding fauna and flora. The Scientist demonstrated different methods for the preservation of collected specimen. The students interacted with the Director and Scientist of Zoological Survey of India. from 16th to 22nd December, 2017 for the students. On 16th December the programme was formally
inaugurated by Dr. Nripen Goswami, Principal, J. N. College, Boko. On 16

a total of 51 students participated, out of which 7 students were from Bikali College of Dhupdhara.
Mr. Amanur Rahman was the Resource person for the first two days of the workshop. During these
two days he covered Operating System, DOS, WINDOWS and UNIX. On 19th and 20th December Mr.
Dawarmoni Oja was the Resource person and he presented on C++ Programming Language. A total of
