The Gandhian Study Center was inaugurated on 26th November, 2020 by honourable Principal Dr. Tapan Dutta at Jawaharlal Nehru College Boko. It is established with the aim of spreading the principles of Mahatma Gandhi among the youth & students. The center is operating under the guidance of the Dept. of Political Science, JNC, Boko. Aims & Objectives of the Center: • To promote social and political ideas of Mahatma Gandhi among the teachers and students. • To analyse the relevance of Gandhian Philosophy in today’s world. • To contribute towards conflict resolution through Gandhian methods and establish peace in the society. • To publish books and articles based on the Gandhian ideas & principles. • To establish a library with books on Gandhian Philosophy for teachers and students. • To establish link with Gandhian organizations to inculcate & propagate Gandhian values. • To promote value based education.
